EOR Pricing Benchmarks 2026

Published EOR list fees cluster at ~$459–$699/mo: Multiplier from ~$459, Deel and Remote ~$599, Oyster ~$699, G-P often ~$800+. At 20+ seats, negotiated mid-market deals commonly land ~$400–$525. Deposits and FX usually move year-1 cash more than a $50 list gap.

Worked Cost Example

Scenario: 8 employees across UK, Germany, and Poland at $7,500/month average gross.

Cost lineMonthly estimate
Platform fee @ $599/employee$4,792
Employer statutory contributions (~18% avg)~$10,800
FX markup (0.5–1% on payroll)~$300–$600
Salary deposit (1 month, working capital)~$60,000 one-time

All-in monthly run-rate is usually 15–35% above list platform fee once statutory costs and FX are included. Request an itemized quote at your headcount before comparing providers on headline price alone.

Negotiated-rate benchmarks (what buyers report)

Public list is the asking price. Benchmarks that matter in procurement:

HeadcountCommon negotiated band (mid-market SaaS EOR)What usually unlocks it
1–5 seatsList or near-listLittle leverage
6–15 seats~5–15% off listAnnual commit, multi-country
20–50 seats~$400–$525/mo on $599 list peersCompetitive bake-off + term length
50+ seatsCustom enterpriseSecurity review, MSA paper, multi-year

Owned-entity vendors (Remote, Atlas, G-P) sometimes defend list longer because the product is the liability chain, not the discount. Partner-heavy vendors discount more aggressively when competing on coverage breadth.

For negotiation tactics, see how to negotiate EOR pricing and EOR pricing hidden costs.

Benchmarks that are not the seat fee

Cost lineTypical public benchmarkWhy it moves TCE
Salary deposit~1–2 months gross per employeeWorking capital, not P&L fee
FX markup~0.5%–2% above mid-marketScales with payroll, not headcount
Benefits admin markup~0–20% on supplemental benefitsEasy to hide in “pass-through”
Offboarding / termination processing~$0–$2,000 in complex marketsHits when you can least negotiate
Setup feesUsually $0 at majors; some still chargeOne-time noise on small pilots

Worked benchmark: 10 employees, $8,000 average monthly salary, $599 seat.

  • Seats: $71,880/year
  • FX at 0.75% on $960K payroll: ~$7,200/year
  • Deposit lockup at 1.5 months: ~$120,000 cash tied up

Platform operating cost ~$8,500/employee/year before statutory employer burden. Country social charges still dominate in France, Brazil, and Germany. See country tables in the cost guide.

How to use these benchmarks in an RFP

  1. Ask every vendor for all-in monthly cost for the same role, salary, and country (fee + employer contributions estimate + FX + deposit timing).
  2. Score owned vs partner separately from price. A $50 cheaper partner seat is not a benchmark win if policy requires owned entities.
  3. Anchor mid-market $599 vendors at ~$450–$500 only when you have 20+ seats and a competing quote. Anchoring a 3-seat pilot at $400 wastes time.
  4. Separate contingent/MSP quotes (CXC Global) from SaaS EOR list benchmarks. Different product.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a good EOR price per employee in 2026?

For mid-market SaaS EOR, paying ~$599 list for under 10 seats is normal. Paying list at 25+ seats without a bake-off is usually weak procurement. Sub-$300 seats exist on partner-budget vendors; validate compliance depth before celebrating the benchmark.

Why do benchmarks show Remote and Deel at the same $599?

Same list band, different product. Remote sells owned entities in fewer countries. Deel sells broader mixed coverage and contractor tooling. Benchmark the model, not only the integer.

Are G-P fees really ~$800+?

Enterprise G-P deals are quote-driven and often land above mid-market SaaS lists. Use ~$800 as a planning band until you have a written quote, then replace it.
